Manic Monday ;-)

I MAY HAVE JUST WON MOM OF THE YEAR!!!!!!

Well in Hayley's eyes anyway.....LOL

Her dream was to save enough money to visit the American girl Doll store in New York. She finally reached her goal for the trip money and Jerry and I have set aside money for her to spend while there.....so Mommy booked a bus trip for her and I to go in August! She is so excited!!!!

So today Nana took us shopping and treated us each to a new outfit to wear! My birthday is in August so that was my early present. A new outfit. We both got dresses and new shoes, and she got an adorable headband. When we go I'll be posting lots of pictures!!! I'm excited too, looking forward to a day for the two of us. I've always wanted to see New York, so even if it's just to the shop, I'm excited!!! Daddy will be planning a special day out for him and Kathleen. :-)

Hope you all are having a great evening!

Blessings,
Jill

Happy Birthday Jill! It sounds like a wonderful trip. Wow--I wish Rebekah were still young enough to play with her American Girl doll. She's almost 20 and passed her doll on to a little girl at our church.

What a sweet photo. Thanks for visiting!

Hi Jill...Yeah...you're super mommy of the year!!! That's so cool on so many levels..Bravo to Hayley for saving all that money. That's is such an adult thing to do..and she's a child still. So if she's learning good saving/spending habits now, that'll serve her well when she's a grown up :) :) :) Also super cool that you and her will have a fun mother/daughter trip to the American Girl doll store.
Have you seen that American Girl movie "Kitt Kitredge? I'm sure I mispelled it...but it's really cute. I love the styles and the colors and the storyline. It's so clean and everyone can watch it. I've probably mentioned that already :) ) :) Have a great week. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

HI Jill that's so wonderful for you and your daughter to have this wonderful trip to NY!! I am excited for the both of you!
My daughter used to like those dolls. Her name is Kirsten so they even have one named after her or least they used too. I think that is wonderful your daughter can make Jewelry I had no idea. How great to find a craft she loves so early in life. I would be proud of her too. So is it both your girls birthday's or yours and your oldest daughter's? This Friday Morgan will be 12, my DIL will have her birthday and then on the August 2 is my daughter's birthday and then on the 11th is my husband's birthday! so that's four birthdays all with in weeks of each other.
I see the lady above talks about the movie Kitt Kitredge, I loved that movie! I love Little House on the Prairie books too, I have read them all but one. I can't remember which one I need to read.
I have been meaning to say I don't see any place in your blog to check mark.
Have a great week! Hugs

Jill,
Hailey looks so happy there with her dolls. I hope y'all have the best time in New York. Think of the wonderful memories you will be making with Hailey. I think it is important for each parent to have one on one time with each child. I bet your husband and Kathleen will have a blast that day too! Can't wait to see the pictures. Have a blessed day. Sheila

@ Heather, Yes we've seen the Kit movie and loved it! We actually have bought and watched all the American Girl movies. They really are delightful! They do a great job and really teaches good values and lessons!

@ Kat, I'll email you in case you can't get this response back :-)

@ Sheila, I so agree with you about one on one time with each parent and child. We try to do it often. Plus a lot all together too! :-)

@ SonyaAnn Thanks! We are so excited!! Her excitement is very contagious LOL I will definitely have a long posts of pictures that day!! She has a countdown chain going! LOL
