How could we miss this??? Getting prepped for New York City!!

How in the world could we have missed this giant growing in our garden???

A gigantic zucchini! Just had to share, this is enough for 2 meals at least, LOL! :-)

There is excitement in the air here today.......
Nail polish colors are picked......

There are top secret decisions to be made......

Lanie is quite indecisive on what she'd like too!

There is hair to style, clothes and shoes to prepare, jewelry decisions to make... Mommy has been running from store to store looking for her favorite lipstick color, only to learn Max Factor is not sold in the U.S. anymore. :-(  Did see Boscov's is having an Estee Lauder gift time again with purchase, may need to check it out this evening. :-)
Stay tuned for pictures and updates! ;-)

Tomorrow Hayley and I are heading to New York City to visit the American Doll store and check out Manhattan! Look out New York.... here we come!!!!

Blessings,
Jill

Oh my goodness...I love American Girl in NYC. I go there every time I visit. It's such a shame I don't have a daughter. I don't have any excuse to buy all of the cute dolls. :) BTW, following you back!

I followed your link from a comment you left at another blog I was reading for the Friday Blog Hop. I will be following your blog.
I will have to say that I would think that zucchini is a tad unmissable. Nothing near that big in our poor excuse for a garden.
Hope you have a great time in NYC. I grew up in Queens (have to say it's a great place to visit, but don't ever want to live there again).
Safe trip and have fun.
If you have a chance I invite you to stop by my blog:

Love the Zucchini! I've had some big ones..but that's the biggest I've ever seen.

How sweet seing your little girl with her American Girl's doll. That's the only doll my 20 yr. old ever had...she had Kirsten. Then when she was 16, she passed it on to a friend's daughter along with all her furniture..a bed, dresser, rocking chair etc. Wish she was there..but love that we are in the process of developing her relationship with "Mr. Right". I can hardly believe my third child (and only daughter) is on the road to marriage..but such is the case. (Shhh..it's a secret!)

One day it's dolls...the next day..it's the real thing!

Keep up the good work Mom..the next thing you know, you'll be planning her wedding!
