My first blog award!!!

I was honored to be given my first blog award! Thank you Noelle! :-) Please be sure to stop by her blog as well and say hi. :-)

The criteria for receiving this award are:

To answer this question:

If you had a chance to go back and change one thing in your life, would you and what would it be?

Well I've always said I did everything the way I wanted... I love my life, I am very blessed... but if I could do over I would have went to New York to model as planned. I have those what if days every now and then.

Next is to pick 6 people to give this award to. This was VERY hard to choose ( and I added an extra) I love so many of your blogs!! :-)

7) Heather http://

Thanks again to Noelle for this lovely award! Please take some time and visit these ladies, they have wonderful blogs and I consider them dear friends!

Have a great night!

Hi Jill congratulations! wow to model that sounds fabulous although I think being a mommy is really special and I know that you are doing what God wanted you to do. Thanks so much for including me, I feel so honored. That is truly a hard question for me, but I think I know the answer already---will post this in my Sunday's post. Wow! did you make some yummy chicken in the post below it looks pretty delicious and I love chicken. I'm going to travel back in time and see what you have been up to this week. Big hugs

Well, Jill, you deserve this kind of blog award. You have a lovely blog that is always such a joy to visit. And I'm loving getting to know you as well.

I understand what you mean about going down the "what if" path with regard to modeling. We can always second guess ourselves. But as my preacher said just two Sundays ago when talking about second guessing our decisions, "At the time you made whatever decision you now deem wrong, it seemed the right decision to don't beat yourself up over things you wish you had done differently."

Even so, though, I can go down the "what if" path pretty regularly. It's with effort that I force myself to not go there. There are many things in my life that I would do differently...knowing then what I know now, of course. However, I suppose that all my bad decisions have made me into the person I am today, so I guess they were necessary for me. But for sure I would have enjoyed my children more when they were really little...instead of being so anxious for time with girlfriends or for myself. Also, I would never have moved away from Florida.

Thank you for thinking of me and extending this award to me as well. I really appreciate it.

Hope you are well and that you are enjoying your parents' visit.

HI Jill,

Congrats on the award. That's so cool :) :) :) If I had one thing to do over...I would have worked my way through college, instead of taking out student loans. I'm not sorry I went to school...but having student loan payments is not fun!!! So I would have "earned" my way through college...

Do you have any fun activities planned for the weekend? I saw an estate sale this weekend. So I'm going to check it out later this afternoon. Hopefully there will still be something good left. I'm looking for sheets today!!! Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

Congratulations on this lovely award.
Sometimes I wish I could have studied the fashion design course I accepted in to, but unfortunate couldn't accept, but I suppose things happen for a reason and I have a beautiful little princess instead which I wouldn't change for anything in the world!!!

Have a beautiful day. xx

Hi Jill, I'm so glad you received this award. How interesting that you wanted to model. I never even thought of that. I wanted to be a poet. I wish I had finished my degree. But the thing I love is that I've learned to love doing the things God has given me to do and to give my best to them.

It's funny though, how those early dreams never fade. I think you would make a wonderful model. :o)

I'm glad you won this award--you deserve it!
