Giveaway update, some fun and a recipe for dinner :-)

Hi everyone!

Just a reminder...today is the day I'll be drawing a winner for my giveaway. I'll be drawing a name this evening about 6PM. So if you haven't entered yet there's still time! :-) Good luck to everyone!

We will be working on our sugar cookies tonight. They are also egg free and we had to wait for them to chill overnight. The girls are excited, this time cookie cutters, sprinkles, etc! :-) Just had to include this picture of the cookie Jerry made for himself...LOL
It's hard sticking to healthy eating this time of the year! However I will not be eating any cookies this big! LOL

For Kathleen's birthday she received shrinky dinks. Does anyone remember these? I use to love them when I was little. We decorated and had fun watching them roll up and shrink in the oven. Kathleen was pretty impressed with how they came out. We'll be making bracelets, etc with them. :-)

I have a delicious crockpot meal cooking as I type, for dinner tonight. The house smells heavenly. If you get a chance this is one to try!

Cape Breton Chicken (crockpot/slow cooker)

4 uncooked boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cubed
1 medium onion, chopped
1 small-medium-sized green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup celery chopped
1 quart low sodium stewed or crushed tomatoes
1 cup water
1/2 cup tomato paste
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker
Cover, cook for 7 hours on low
Optional serve over rice.
Enjoy!

Have a great afternoon and I'll be on later tonight to announce the winner!

Hi Jill,
I laughed out loud when I saw Jerry's cookie. That looks like something Kevin would make too!! I am copying and pasting that recipe. It sounds like something we would love. I'm making chicken chili for supper tonight. Kathleen is such a cutie. Have a wonderful week.

That is certainly a man sized cookie! Shrinky Dinks are lots of fun. Even as an adult I like to watch them shrink.

I hope you're having a great MOnday!

I was just talking about shrinky dinks the other day. I had to show this post to my hubby -- not growing up in the U.S. he never heard of them.

By the way, some how I stopped following you - not intentional but I fixed it :0)
