It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.....My first giveaway!

Thank you everyone for the well wishes for Hayley! She seems to feel much better today so she'll be off to school tomorrow. This evening we started some more decorating, at Thanksgiving we had done the tree in our formal living room. (More pics. on that soon!) Tonight we put up our smaller tree in the family room, as well as decorated the mantle. We of course had to hang up our countdown to Christmas counter to start...

I just happen to really love Snowmen! ;-)

This is one of the girls favorites.... It tells the story of the night before Christmas, it was a gift a few years ago from my parents.

Trimming the tree.....

These were the two new ornaments the girls picked out this year when we visited the Christmas Village.

Notice her outfit? Well of course after a few ornaments she ran to change into her dress. LOL

Hayley was pretty content in PJ's!

All finished!

Every year they catch up to the Snowman in height!

This was a cute little family project we did last year. Using clay pots, we traced our hands and glued them to the back to make antlers. We also cut out ears, then glued on our wiggly eyes and red noses. Great for filling with goodies!

Our mantle, each year it's different, maybe a possibility for a switch this year yet, LOL

As a thank you to all my wonderful readers and friends I am doing my first giveaway for the holidays! To earn a entry please do the following:

1) Become a follower  ( if you already follow let me know)

Beautiful decorations and beautiful girls. I love snowmen too. I also love entering give a ways. This year I have decided to enter as many as I can and pass along the goodies (if I win) to someone else, not that I would not enjoy the goodies myself, but I have more than I need. I love to give to others and this way I can (if I win). I hope this does not sound weird, I just love doing this. I also follow you. Thanks for sharing the beautiful pictures and a early MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your sweeties.
Blessings and hugs,

Hi Jill,
I'm a follower too!! I love how Kathleen dresses for each occasion--she makes me smile. We didn't put all our ornaments on our tree this year--we have so many that they tree would be totally covered. I'm glad Hayley is feeling better. Love that fireplace too. I'm going to blog about this now. Take care.

Well, my dear, you know I am a follower...and not just because of the giveaway.

Your tree looks beautiful!!! We haven't put up our large tree in a few years, as we don't have the space. Plus, we wanted something up and out of the level of our very inquisitive puppy. So, we've used a small table-top tree the past few years. But I'm thinking about trying to use the big tree this year. Where it will fit, I do NOT know.

The reindeer clay pots are TOO cute. What a fun project.

Anyhow, blessings to you and yours this Thursday.
