Long day.....

We were up at 6 A.M to travel out to visit my parents for our holiday get together. We also stopped by a friend's house and got to meet God's newest wonderful gift! what a great Christmas present to receive! We all fell in love with him! We watched his mommy grow up and cannot believe she is a Mommy now. So we spoiled them both with lots of goodies they can use and baked them a ton of yummy cookies!! :-) He arrived 4 weeks early by emergency c-section, but was still over 8 pounds!! So he and Mommy are doing great and we are so blessed! Just wish we didn't live so far away. :-(

Proud parents!! Congratulations!!! Our "little" Kayla all grown up 20 years old!

After we visited with them we headed to my Mom's house and had a wonderful Christmas celebration and dinner. The girls got to play with their cousins, and we got to visit with family we love so much, and miss.

My mom has always had the most inviting dinner parties, put together with beauty and love.

Kid's table.

She had these adorable little bottoms (either Santa or Elves) filled with candy and a beautiful ornament.
Thanks Mom for a wionderful day! We appreciated it so much!!! ;-)
Amy turned 16 this past June and went through her toys and brought boxes full down to the girls to divide! They had a blast, we also convinced them to leave a good amount there to play with at Nana's house.

Amy also gave the girl's pillow pets which they adored! We had a great time!

We did get a scare when we were leaving though, We were at the car and heard a loud thud and my Mom yelled out, we ran to the front porch and my Aunt Laura had fallen and hit her head on the concrete porch. They took her to emergency care but she refused to get a cat scan or to stay. She is one stubborn 79 year old!! Then proceeded to drive herself home! ( luckily she lives in a retirement community so help is nearby) She had a huge knot on the back of her head and we are still very worried about her, please think of her in your prayers.

I have another prayer request, our dear friend's father was in a very serious car accident and is still in care. He has two large blood clots that are worrying the Dr's as well as other injuries. We are quite worried about him. Thank you!

Tomorrow is another busy day, we drove over 7 hours today and are back at home. Tomorrow we're headed to the tea room to have tea with Mrs. Claus! Girls are so excited, pictures to follow tomorrow!

Have a wonderful weekend! Hug your loved ones tight...

Blessings,
Jill
