Storm has passed and Halloween!

Thank you all for the well wishes for us during the storm. We were very lucky and only had minor damage, mostly tree branches down around the yard. We were fortunate not to lose electric. My thoughts and prayers are going out to all those hardest hit from this storm. The pictures on TV are heartbreaking, and several people I know have suffered extensive damages.

To pass the time during the storm while we were all at home we carved pumpkins to prepare for Halloween. :-) It helped to keep the girl's minds off the storm.

We were quite surprised that even in the midst of the terrible weather we tried our luck at pizza delivery...the only place open was Domino's and they delivered hot pizza and brought free soda. Too bad I don't drink soda anymore, but we were happy with the treat of nice hot pizza. :-)

The girls did get some extra time to complete homework and extra busy work as well.

We also had a surprise visit from our friends to see their costumes.

I loved Lori's creative idea for little Carly's costume....the Coppertone baby....

The girls were all set and ready to trick or treat tonight with some friends.
It seems the older they get, the creepier the costumes!
Here they are with their friends to go trick or treating!

Kathleen put her new cute Zebra jacket on...actually went quite well with her costume....
Of course they ended the evening with a ton of candy!
Gotta love Hayley's hair net! LOL They spent quite a bit of time trading candy, they had a blast. :-)

                                                                         Happy Halloween!
