World Teachers Day
World Teachers Day occurs on October 5th, you can find information here.
Being a teacher before having my children; as well as being their teacher as they grow, has been both a joy and a blessing for me. The gift of learning is one that continues far beyond school and college. It's been a joy to me for many years and I am proud to acknowledge World Teachers Day and to say thank you to all the teachers who work so hard every day.
The teaching world has changed so much over the last 25 years, but a good teacher never gives up hope that we can make a difference. There are so many things I could write on this subject, but for today I will leave you with a few quotes and this infographic from Grammarly, included below. They have provided some great information to share with you.

"It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge" Albert Einstein
"The dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth". Dan Rather
"One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child" Carl Jung
"Most of us end up with no more than five or six people who remember us. Teachers have thousands of people who remember them for the rest of their lives" Andy Rooney
Have you thanked a teacher today? :-)
