Review of Betsy Karounos's Heroines of the Old Testament Adult Coloring Book

* I received this item free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.*

Who else is loving the concept of adult coloring books for relaxation after a long day? I was contacted by Hachette Book Group to review this coloring book by Betsy Karoundos Heroines of The Old Testament by Faith Words and it is quite a lovely book. This book can be found here on Amazon.

The coloring book features biblical stories through lovely symbolic illustrations. Included are Sarah, Rebekah, Rachel, Miriam, Rahab, Deborah, Ruth, and Hannah. Inspiring and peaceful graphics to let out your creative ideas. The book includes great tips from the artists, portraits, botanical designs, geometric patterns, narrative scenes and more. This would make a wonderful Christmas gift this holiday season.

Here are some pictures of just a few of the amazing pictures included inside.

                                                              A page from Sarah's story

This is a page I am currently working on and you can see how the story starts to come to life when adding some color. This page is part of Rachel's story. I like to put 2 pieces of construction paper between the pages I am working on so that the colors don't leak through when using marker or pen.

This is a really lovely  book and I'm enjoying the time to unwind and color with all the peaceful pictures. If you get a chance I recommend checking it out :-)
