Hayley's Bestie Breanne has Arrived! :-)

Hayley and Breanne met in elementary school back when we lived in Pennsylvania and have been best friends ever since. We were super excited her mom got her a plane ticket and had her fly down about 2 weeks ago. Hayley was beyond happy when she arrived and we have been keeping busy while she's been visiting. :-) She will be leaving this Wednesday and we will sure be sad to see her go!

One of the things on their list was seeing Finding Dory. So I took them to see it and Kathleen and I went to see The Secret Life of Pets. :-) We had taken Kathleen to see Finding Dory a few weeks ago when Hayley was at a party. Both were really cute movies.

We've being doing lots more but some of that will be covered in future posts I have planned. After Breanne leaves Wednesday we will be entertaining again on Friday -Monday :-)

As you can see Kathleen found my phone and had some fun taking selfies! LOL.

Another simple craft activity is just scraping chalk to get some chalk dust, add some water and mix up the colors then paint some pinecones with paint brushes. It stays on well and looks really pretty. She has made several for me and they are beautiful, just like a watercolor! They look especially nice displayed in a beautiful bowl or on a nice plate.

There has definitely been time for hanging in the hammock and reading, feeding the ducks (that's what's in the sand pail. ;-) and always a water bottle or cup nearby! These near 100 degree temps are brutal!

Chalk art... because how could it be summer without it?

Hoping you are enjoying these summer days and staying cool. :-)

Hi Jill, looks like lots of summer fun going on at your home. So happy for Hayley to have her best friend come for a visit. Special memories for sure. Kathleen's smiling face is always a bright spot. Love the project she's working on.
Happy new week. Blessings xo

Awesome summer for your family. How fantastic that so many friends and loved ones are able to come for a visit.

I'm sure it will be very hard for Hayley and Breanna to say goodbye. I hope they will be able to see each other again soon.

Enjoy your next round of guests.
