Yard Sale Deals and a LittleFashion Show!

Look at those happy faces, lol! We just love yard saling and last year when Breanne came out to visit us in Ohio she found great deals at some of the yard sales we went to and this year was no different. Hayley got a bunch of t-shirts to hang out in and also to craft with. She got over 20 pieces of clothing for $1.75!! Score! :-)

However Jerry saw the AC/DC shirts and convinced her to give him one, lol.

Mirabelle was on her high perch watching Kathleen sort through all her amazing finds. We really hit the jackpot with her clothing sizes and everything fit perfectly!

Elvis was watching too, though not easily amused. ;-)

She got so many amazing pieces of clothing mostly all designer names, plus books etc for $30.00!

The sleeping bag is a Coleman and she got it for free because the zipper was jammed and Jerry brought it home and spent a little time working on it with his "tools" and now it's as good as new!

She found her Halloween costume for this year, which we will be adding accessories to.

And the outfits just go on and on!

Breanne found an amazing pair of cowboy boots for just $3.00! Regular $80-100.00

This outfit was a little big, but still a great deal and she got the slippers she's wearing too! They were new!

This is a leather jacket Hayley found and she was quite tickled with it! Of course she won't be wearing it with those pants, lol.

I was super happy to find pants for the fall that fit her really well!

Again a little big with these two items, but she will grow into them and get more use out of them.

I just love this color blue on her and the outfit. :-)

                                                     Even found these adorable socks!

One of her favorite finds of the day was this sewing machine for kids with all the accessories and was only $3.00!! She was busy creating most of the night!

This adorable little owl she gave to me to keep, I just love it!!

Those tiny little hands.... hard at work making a new creation..... love how she enjoys learning new things!

Here's Jerry fixing the sleeping bag for her!!

After all that shopping we had  to stop and get a nice dinner out. Breanne loves the hush puppies down here and of course the sweet tea! :-)

Jerry tried the strawberry cake that was homemade in the restaurant, but said he really wasn't a fan and liked mine a lot more. Awe.... how sweet!

And..... one more time with all the deals!! What great finds and a great day out! Do you enjoy yard saling? What was your best deal?

Wow! What a haul! That 'ugly' T-shirt is too funny! Lots of great outfits and the girls are natural models :) The little sewing machine is great. I keep wanting to hit up the garage sales, but every weekend I am so busy. I used to go all the time when my kids were young. My favorite things to find are tablecloths, vintage dishes and linens. Looks like the girls are enjoying their summer so far! xo Karen

Wow, y'all sure did have a successful garage saling adventure! I can't believe all the stuff you got for such a minimal amount of money. That never happens to me.

I always enjoy seeing photos of your beautiful girls. They are really growing up.

Have a great day,

Wow that was some great bargains!!!! We haven't had time to do a lot of garage saling. I miss it!!!
You asked on my blog about the pool. We use chlorine pucks. Use the tester and check it every day until you get a feel for it. We also use clarifier and algaeside. The trick I use is to splash the water on a sunny day, if there is prisms on the water, it is perfect. Once its clear, you only need to run the pump for 4-6 hours a day. Pool places will tell you to run it 24/7 but it isn't true.
Hope this helps.

WOWEE! I have never found goodies like that in such abundance. And that actually fit! Incredible. Great photos of the girls throughout. So cute. I enjoy an occasional garage or estate sale, but don't have luck like that.
