Let's start with Halloween!

It's like a big loss deleting photos from my Mac... I did as much backup as I could, now I can only hope they are safely stored. Lesson learned, I will be backing up and deleting more often!

I will be sharing our most recent trip, but first I thought I'd cover Halloween!

Both girls picked some creepy characters this year! This was Hayley's original makeup, then she added more to it....

                                                          Kathleen was a vampire pirate!

Being our first Halloween in this house, we weren't sure how popular the trick or treating was, so as we headed out we left candy behind. Turns out it seems no one showed.... so we were left with more candy.... oh darn, lol ;-)

This is Hayley's final finished face!

Both of them looked so creepy!!!!

I researched online and found out that our town was doing a Halloween safe trick or treat with all the local businesses! It was really nice, everyone did a great job and everyone followed lines, a great evening!

They closed down the road to make it safe for everyone. :-)

When we left town, we went into a little development nearby and Kathleen ran into her friend Aiden, they both have a little crush on each other :-)

Nothing to fear.... the Ghostbusters were near!

We thought this costume was so adorable and I always loved the Flintstones growing up! No idea who they are but just had to take a picture :-)

Candy was given to the Switch Witch!!!

In return she brought Kathleen some gifts :-)

It's always tough moving and getting familiar with new towns and traditions.... glad we found this town activity and the girls really had a great time! Until next year.....

Hi Jill, looks like a fun time had by all for Halloween in your town. The girls did an amazing and creative job with the makeup for their costumes.
You got some great photos too. Have a nice rest of the weekend. xo

So much fun!! THe girls are so creative...
Years ago, when my sister and her family moved to the outskirts of a small town, they got just a few brave trick or treaters and each of those got a full sized candy bar with a $5 taped to the back. My sister's ex-husband was pretty wealthy and liked to flash it around.
The next year, they had kids lined up to get to their house... I don't remember what they gave out that year, but probably disappointed a lot of kids if it wasn't the whole shebang $5.

How fun, Jill! The makeup and face paint you can buy now is very cool! It does take talent, good for you!

Thanks for your visit and kind words on the birth of my granddaughter. We are over the moon!
