Kathleen Planned a Valentine's Special Day For Us :-)

My "little" Kathleen.... how I love this girl so much! She planned out a whole special day to celebrate Valentine's day together as a family. Each day I received a special note leading up to this morning. She dressed in a special outfit too and planned everything out perfectly. Such a nice surprise.

She set everything up in the basement so here were special notes as we went down the stairs. :-)

She had a table all set up and ready. They decided to make Biscuitville a part of the celebration, lol. Even though she was originally going to cook breakfast with Jerry. We had  a busy day planned so it saved a little time.

I love all the special signs she made.

Mirabelle was happy to hang out in the dollhouse and keep an eye on us, lol!

She bought cups and all the decorations with her own money and did a fantastic job setting everything up. This was her seat....

                                                                 This one was mine :-)

She made all the loom hearts :-)

She made this delicious dessert chocolate and marshmallow and it was so delicious but very, very sweet!!!

My precious family... how blessed am I? Very!!! :-)

She also made up some fun games for us to play. We had quite a few laughs too!

                                                                           My girls and I.....

Then she had even more planned for us outside.....

The ducks ran over to greet us... I never get tired of seeing them :-)

She had set up paints and little mini birdhouses for us to paint together.

While they were drying we took a walk around our pond... it was a gorgeous day here in the 70's!! Tomorrow is supposed to be just a s nice.

Hayley found some daffodils under our tree that were blooming and Jerry noticed the early buds on the tree.

So peaceful, calm and relaxing here... I love it.

                                                                      All finished!

She also made another sweet surprise... chocolate truffles!!! Thank you so much Kathleen!!! You did such an amazing job with everything today and I love you more then you could ever possibly know!!!

Ahhh yes! The post I've been waiting for! What a girl that Kathleen is! To think of all the time she put into this and how she spent her own money for everything...well, it is just beyond any words I could think of express how I feel about it all. Loved the decorations, the time she put into making everyone feel special and loved. The pictures are really good. Thank you so much, Jill, for sharing this special time with us...and for you and your husband being such special parents to raise such special girls.

Oh my goodness, how precious is she? Such a little darling. Love all the sweet decorations and treats. I laughed when I saw the 'selfie queen' chocolates :) I love that you all do such fun things as a family. The little birdhouses turned out so cute. Sweet family photos. Lovely property, too. Sending hugs xx Karen
