Kathleen Making Pizza at out Local Pizza Restaurant :-)

There is such joy in discovering and learning new things! As you know Kathleen enjoys cooking and when we go to our local pizza restaurant sometimes on the weekends, she enjoys sitting on the stools by their window area and watching them prepare and cook the food. They have noticed her as well and are always interacting and very pleasant to us. Their customer service is amazing! This past weekend they invited Kathleen behind the counter to make her own pizza! She was so excited and it was a memory to last a lifetime! In the picture is Sal, the gentleman who taught her how to make her first pizza from scratch in a restaurant! ;-)

You can watch her in action here on YouTube. :-)

The pizza is always amazing here and this one was just as delicious!! Great job Kathleen!

She wanted to do something nice back for Sal and his staff members so the next morning she got busy making her red velvet cake from scratch! ;) It's a big hit when she takes it in to Jerry's work.

She also made her own buttercream frosting :-)

Her next goal was to make it look like a pizza so she colored some of the icing to look like sauce and then grated white chocolate to sprinkle on and make it look like cheese :-)

                                                                 Amazing job Kathleen!!!

Sal was very happy to receive the cake and he said it was Father's Day in Italy and that he was celebrating with his family at dinner that evening. He said he would share the cake there :-)

So proud of you Kathleen for always thinking of others and giving back and for making such an amazing cake!!

I also posted 2 more posts today if you'd like to read them :-)

It's so cool that they asked Kathleen to do that - and she sure did a great job! And then she's so sweet to make that cake for them. It sure looked like pizza to me! Love that you've already become such a part of your community there. ;)

Blessings Sweetie. xoxo

Oh, Jill, your little daughter is such a treasure! So thoughtful, always! Love the video and the cute cake that looks just like pizza. Sal must have been so touched.
I wanted to answer your question about the Japanese weeping maple tree in the pot. Yes, it is a very small variety that is slow-growing. I have two in pots, one out front. They like shade or dappled sunshine, as their leaves burn easily, and moist soil. Thank you for your always kind visits, my friend. xo Karen

Hi Jill ~ coming over from Diana's blog. So glad she shared your prayer request. I already feel things in common with you. Our youngest daughter (46) is Jill. Our Middle daughter, Julie middle name is Kathleen.

I'm especially fond of redheads, since our Jill is a redhead, and before my glorious grey (ha ha) I was a redhead.

Will be in prayer for your surgery and your husband's up coming. How nice to find other woman of Faith who love Jesus in "blogland". I will be following you.

Come by and see me too.

Hugs, Wanda
