Catching Up, A Little Bit of Everything, Food, Animals, Organizing.....

Hope your week is off to a great start and that everyone had a nice Mother's day! :-)

Jerry bought me these beautiful roses and the girls gave me some lovely gifts as well. I was happy just spending the day with them :-)

They opened up so pretty! I wish they could last forever!

The pansies are still thriving on our porch and this week I plan to get some more flowers to add!

Also need to do some pressure washing for the never ending pollen that forms a nice layer on there, lol.

My flowers are blooming so nicely, these are Mexican roses, in the family of moss roses too. It seems a lot of names for this particular rose ;-)

Love this time of year when I can put my flags and decorations out again.

Also setting up my hummingbird feeders! :-)

My butterfly bushes have really grown well this year. Hummingbirds love to hang out here.

Always a joy to be able to watch them from the sunroom :-)

Been staying on track with my healthy eating and exercising. :-)

The cupcakes I made for the girl's lunches for the week.

One night for dinner I also made a low sodium stuffed shells dish, so good!

Love doing fresh grated cheese, so much flavor and not all those awful preservatives!

                                                                         Yummy :-)

I was reorganizing the laundry room/ dog area and decided to change up their treat containers. Having 5 dogs these don't last long, lol.

Penelope was sitting and waiting for Kathleen to get home. They love when she gets here and get so excited!

Right now during the day however, they enjoy being lazy in the sun ;-)

Thought I'd share this quick organizational tip for today.... If you have rolls of wrapping paper you need to store and want them up off the floor; just go to the Dollar Tree and purchase a dress bag! Perfect size to hold the wrapping paper, just add the clothes hanger, zip it all up and it stores nicely in your closet. :-)

Love this picture of Hayley after she was working on her pastel art of this giraffe. I love how it turned out and I love her face too! Signs of a true artist, lol!

This is my dad's new dog Kelvin I mentioned him before in one of my posts. My dad sent me this picture of him, seems he is enjoying his new home a little too much! LOL! But my dad is definitely known to spoil his animals. It's a far cry from the shelter he grew up in.

Hope you are all having a wonderful Monday! I'll be working my way around reading to catch up with you as well.

                                                                        Blessings,
                                                                              Jill

I love your front porch! The brick and the swing, just perfect! And your yard is so green. That giraffe is amazing! She did a fantastic job. The dress bag... keeps the rolls all combined and up off the floor. What a great idea!

What a talented daughter you have, the giraffe as amazing. The photo of your Dads pooch made me smile, spoilt indeed.

Jill, Jess has that same white table and chairs. I've been wanting to get one for a long time. It looks so charming on your porch. Don't ya wish roses lasted a bit longer? The ones Jerry gave you are so pretty. Love the color. Oh, you set up your Hummingbird feeders! I can't wait to see if you get any hummingbirds fluttering about. Please show us pics if you do. It is my beloved bird. The meal looks Yummy, and I love that picture in the background. The kitchen accessories look like 'The Pioneer Woman' collection? Those are so charming and I've always loved them. Oh my gosh, your stuffed shells look amazing. Hayley's giraffe is delightful. She's certainly an artist. It's nice that you are organizing and keeping up with things. : )

Enjoy this merry month of May.

Sorry I haven't been around it my grandson's graduation weekend and we had tons of company.
Was that just spinach in a pita? Your daughter is talented - I loved the giraffe. And the dress bag is a GREAT idea.

Your front porch is so pretty, Jill. Very comfortable looking and it feels like "home". Your roses are just gorgeous. I had to toss mine the other day finally. I love the picture and the paint on the nose--a true artist for sure! What fun to see your sleeping kitties and one waiting for Kathleen to come home.
Have a wonderful night,Jill. xo Diana
